Can I remove community posts from my restaurant page?
No. Business verification does not give you the ability to remove authentic community posts from your restaurant page. Those posts reflect real experiences from real users and are the foundation of what makes HAVEN trustworthy. You can claim the page, customize your business profile, and post your own content — but community posts are not editable by businesses. If you believe a specific post violates our Terms of Service, you can report it through standard channels.
Can I boost or sponsor my restaurant page?
HAVEN does not currently offer paid promotion or sponsored placement for restaurants. All discovery on HAVEN is organic — driven by community posts, scores, and engagement. This is by design. Your best strategy on HAVEN is simply to be a restaurant worth posting about. Verified business status gives you priority in search results, but does not allow you to purchase feed placement or promoted posts.
Does my restaurant need to have a HAVEN presence already?
Not necessarily. If HAVEN users have already been posting about your restaurant, there's already a page for you. If you're new to HAVEN, you can apply for business verification to establish your official presence — we can help you create the account and get set up. Either way, you'll be able to claim your restaurant page once verified.
What's the difference between a business verified account and a restaurant page?
A restaurant page is a community-generated page that exists for any restaurant that has been tagged in a post. It aggregates all posts, shows average scores, and lists top dishes. A business verified account is a user account operated by the business itself — where you can post content, engage with the community, and present your brand. Verification lets you link the two by claiming your restaurant page.
Can business verification be revoked?
Yes. Business verification can be revoked if a business violates our Terms of Service, if the business closes or changes its nature such that it no longer qualifies, or if the account engages in behavior that undermines the trust the badge represents. Revocation notices are sent to the email on file.
