Claim your restaurant pages the right way.
Restaurant claiming links your verified business account to the restaurant pages HAVEN users have created about you - and gives you access to analytics, insights, and your official business dashboard.
Connecting your business account to your restaurant pages.
On HAVEN, restaurant pages are created organically by the community - every time a user posts about a restaurant, it adds to that restaurant's page. These pages exist independently of whether the business has a presence on HAVEN.
When you get verified as a business and claim a restaurant page, you link your official account to that page. This unlocks your analytics dashboard for that location, marks the page as claimed by its owner, and lets HAVEN verify that the right people are managing the right pages.
Claiming a restaurant page does not give you the ability to remove or edit community posts. It gives you access, visibility, and data - while the community's authentic content stays exactly where it is.
📍 One account, one brand
Each business account is tied to the brand or business it was verified for. A Taco Bell account can only claim Taco Bell locations. It cannot claim McDonald's, Pizza Hut, or any unrelated restaurant - even if you manage those too.
🔒 Enforced at the application level
The restaurants you're allowed to claim are set during your verification application, when you declare which locations you own or represent. HAVEN's system enforces this - attempts to claim restaurants outside your declared scope are rejected.
🏢 Multiple brands, multiple accounts
If you operate multiple distinct brands - for example, both a pizza chain and a burger chain - you must apply for a separate business account for each brand. Each brand gets its own verified account, its own badge, and its own dashboard.
Three ways to claim a restaurant page.
When you submit a claim, you select the role that best describes your relationship to that restaurant. Each type has different implications for how HAVEN verifies and displays your claim.
Owner
You own this specific restaurant location - the business, the lease, the operations. This is the highest level of authority for a single location.
Manager / Operator
You manage or operate this location on behalf of the owner - a general manager, regional operator, or franchisee who runs the day-to-day.
Parent Brand / Chain
You represent the brand at a corporate or regional level and own or operate multiple locations under the same name. One claim covers all of them - automatically.
You declare your restaurants before you're approved.
The verification process isn't just about confirming you're a real business. It also establishes exactly which restaurants you're allowed to claim - before any claims are submitted.
Search and select your locations in the app
During the business verification form (Settings → Business Verification), there's a field where you search for and select the specific restaurants you own or represent from HAVEN's database. This produces a structured list - not free text.
Your selections are saved with your application
The restaurants you select are attached to your verification request. HAVEN's review team sees your declared locations as part of the application - highlighted and clearly listed. This is part of what they're reviewing.
Approval locks in your allowed scope
When HAVEN approves your application, your declared restaurant list becomes the boundary of what you can claim. This is enforced at the system level - claims outside your declared scope are rejected automatically, regardless of how the claim is submitted.
Submit claims from your Business Dashboard
Once verified, open the Business Dashboard from your profile. Go to My Locations - your pre-declared restaurants appear immediately in the Unclaimed tab, ready to claim without searching. Each claim still goes through a final review by HAVEN.
Pre-declaring your restaurants at application time creates a paper trail. By the time you're approved and trying to claim a page, HAVEN's team has already reviewed your stated ownership. It's harder to fraudulently claim a competitor's restaurant because the scope was defined before the account was active.
It also protects legitimate businesses. If someone is impersonating your brand, their claims will fail verification because they can't declare your restaurants accurately - and if they try, that's a red flag HAVEN's team will catch during review.
My Locations - your hub for all your restaurants.
Once verified, the My Locations screen in your Business Dashboard shows every restaurant associated with your account, split into two views.
Claimed tab
Shows all restaurants you have an approved claim on. Tap any location to open its full analytics dashboard - views, ratings, posts, saves, traffic sources, and historical trends. For brand / chain accounts, this tab also automatically includes new locations as they appear on HAVEN, with a note confirming they were added automatically.
Unclaimed tab
Shows restaurants you declared in your application that you haven't submitted a claim for yet. This is visible for Owner and Manager accounts only. Tap the Claim button on any location to submit a claim instantly - the restaurant is pre-filled, so you just choose your role and add a brief note. Brand / chain accounts don't see this tab since their brand claim already covers all matching locations automatically.
What you can and cannot claim.
Restaurant claiming questions.
I own both a pizza brand and a burger brand. Do I need two accounts?
Yes. Each business account on HAVEN is tied to a single brand or business entity. If you operate two distinct brands - even under the same corporate parent - each brand needs its own business verification application and its own account. This keeps ownership clear and prevents one account from being used to claim unrelated restaurant pages.
I'm a brand account. What if a new location opens and gets reviewed on HAVEN?
Nothing you need to do. Brand / chain accounts automatically include all restaurant pages on HAVEN that match your brand name. As soon as a new location is tagged in a post and a restaurant page is created, it appears in your Claimed tab in the Business Dashboard. No manual claiming required.
What if someone else has already claimed my restaurant page?
If a restaurant page has been claimed by a different account, your claim request will go through an elevated review. HAVEN will investigate both claims to determine which is legitimate. If you're the rightful owner, contact us at business@havenlifestyle.app with documentation of ownership - we'll prioritize the case.
Can I claim a restaurant that's not in HAVEN's database yet?
Not directly - you can only claim restaurant pages that already exist in HAVEN's database. If your location hasn't been posted about yet, email us and we can add it manually so you can declare and claim it as part of your verification. We recommend doing this before submitting your application.
Does a claim give me control over what users post about my restaurant?
No. Claiming a restaurant page gives you access to your analytics dashboard and identifies your account as the official business presence. It does not allow you to remove, hide, or edit community posts. HAVEN's community content is independent of business ownership. If a specific post violates our Terms of Service, you can report it through the standard reporting process.
How long does a claim take to be approved?
Most claim reviews are completed within 1–3 business days of submission. Straightforward claims from accounts that have already been through full business verification are typically processed faster. Complex cases - such as disputed claims or accounts claiming a large number of locations at once - may take longer.
