Appeal a Suspension

If you believe your account was suspended in error, we want to hear from you. Here's how the process works.

How Account Suspensions Work

HAVEN enforces its Community Guidelines to keep the platform safe and enjoyable for everyone. When a violation is detected — through user reports or our moderation team — we may issue a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban depending on the severity.

Suspensions are always tied to a specific reason. When your account is suspended, you will see the reason and, if applicable, the date the suspension ends when you try to open the app.

Types of Actions

Temporary Suspension

Your account is restricted until a specific date. After that date you can log back in normally. Temporary suspensions are issued for first or second violations of our guidelines.

Permanent Ban

Your account has been permanently removed from HAVEN. This is reserved for serious or repeated violations including harassment, hate speech, spam, or illegal content. Permanent bans cannot be automatically reversed, but you can submit an appeal if you believe the action was taken in error.

Before You Appeal

Please review our Community Guidelines to understand what led to your suspension. Appeals are most successful when the submitter can clearly explain why the moderation action was incorrect — not simply that they disagree with it.

We are not able to process appeals that:

  • Do not include your HAVEN username
  • Simply state "I didn't do anything wrong" without explanation
  • Are submitted multiple times for the same suspension
  • Relate to a suspension that is still within its temporary period (wait until it expires first)

How to Submit an Appeal

Email us at appeals@havenlifestyle.app with the following information:

  • Your HAVEN username (the @username shown in the app)
  • The email address associated with your account
  • The suspension reason shown to you in the app
  • Why you believe the action was taken in error — be specific
  • Any relevant context or evidence that supports your appeal

Use the subject line: Account Appeal – @yourusername

Appeal Timeline

We review all appeals manually. You can expect a response within 5–7 business days. During high-volume periods this may extend to 14 days. We will notify you of the outcome via email.

Possible outcomes of an appeal:

  • Approved — the suspension is lifted and your account is restored
  • Partially approved — a permanent ban may be downgraded to a temporary suspension
  • Denied — the original action is upheld; no further appeals will be considered for the same incident
